Dani de Morón

Morón began his career by accompanying dance maestros such as Manuela Carrasco, Javier Baron and Joaquín Grilo, and singers such as Jose Mercé and Arcangel. However, his most recent accolade has been being asked by the maestro Paco de Lucía to accompany him as a second guitarist on the tour of the album ‘Good Little Things’, an experience that opened a new dimension for Morón and catapulted him to the forefront of the flamenco guitar scene.

Morón has released 2 CDs, and has been awarded with the Guitar Giraldillo at the 17th Biennial of Flamenco Art of Seville. His guitar-playing rises to a stage where technique and harmony play such an important role such as the rudimentary bare string touch, and the abundant use of the thumb upon the bass strings.
