Based in Seville, where Flamenco was born

Female Dancer

While exceptionally fast footwork has become the basis of both male and female Flamenco dance forms, the female dancer may also incorporate props such as mantones (shawls), castanets and abanicos (fans).

Flamenco is a rigorous and beautiful art form that demands the use of the entire body. Therefore the female dancers props become extensions of her self and open up wonderful new possibilities for expression and beauty.

In the following video a female artist dances with a manton and the long train of her dress.
