Earlier this month, we had the privilege of attending Extenda headquarters, in Seville, for a presentation on SDG with Andalusian companies.
Their presentation allowed us to analyze results of the business on sustainable development prepared by the UN Global Compact Spain. Comparing previous years of Andalusian businesses to its strengths and the world gave us key insight on how to manage SDGs within our organization and help meet the worlds goals.
In 2015, United Nations identified the most crucial issues we face as a society and put them out for everyone to see. With this, they wrote “The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, which includes a list of goals the world should achieve by the year 2030.
Not only are these goals about the health of our planet, but also equality, ending poverty, health care access, education access, etc. With 85% of Andalusian companies aware of these goals and 47% adapting very quickly, we are included in both percentages. Being gender-neutral inside and out of the office is just one example of us adapting to the SDGs.
We encourage everyone to learn and adapt to these goals along with us. We are proud of our commitment to make the world a better place and are excited to see the progress! We definitely need to keep the momentum going and engage with many more colleagues who want to make a difference and collaborate with us, as for example, Barcelona Flamenco Ballet soloists recently did this artistic residency in Africa: https://flamencoagency.com/artistic-residency-in-africa/ Let’s make a difference!
