Australia, the land of natural wonders… and Flamenco!

This summer there are many reasons to celebrate… we are going to Australia for the first time!!! We will actually switch the Spanish hot summer to winter, to bring the Spanish flamenco flames to Adelaide.

Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC), one of the prestigious cultural venues in Australia, is celebrating its 50th birthday this year and we are honoured to showcase and recover with “Flamenco Suite” by Compañía Flamenca Antonio Andrade: at the Adelaide Guitar Festival.

Defined as “the heart of the arts in South Australia” by Adelaide Festival Centre CEO & Artistic Director Douglas Gautier, the Australian festival, has started in 2021 and now runs annually, inviting the most influential guitarists and artists from all around the world. This year’s edition will take place from 1st to 16th of July 2023 and will feature a wide range of music genres, including country, classical, rock, blues, and flamenco.

Furthermore, we are thrilled that the festival has gained global recognition for spreading music and fostering international engagement, especially considering Adelaide’s status as a UNESCO City of Music. This event celebrates Adelaides UNESCO Creative Cities connection with Seville, a fellow UNESCO City of Music.

We will be performing on July 15th at the most updated and nicest venue, Her Majesty’s Theatre successfully renovated recently, within the Adelaide Guitar Festival. If you are in Australia, Tasmania, or New Zealand, come and join us to see authentic Flamenco!
