We have signed and joined the COP28, a global campaign asking the UN to approve a ‘Joint Work Decision on Culture and Climate Action’ so that cultural heritage and the arts are incorporated into international climate policy.
We are currently falling short in effectively addressing the urgency of climate change. Culture holds the potential to offer innovative solutions that can support climate policy and planning.
This initiative would empower culture and creative sectors to play a necessary role in climate solutions. We must unite artists, cultural and climate voices in this global call to action! #CultureAtCOP28
“We need everyone from across the cultural landscape to unite and support this campaign – from artists, galleries and museums to designers and the film and fashion industries – we need organisations and individuals from every sector across the world to add their voice!” Alison Tickell, JB Founder.
