Barcelona Flamenco Ballet will be bringing their latest production, Luxuria, to two festivals in Italy this July, starting at the Festival delle Nazioni in Citta di Castello on Friday 8th, a festival dedicated every year to a different nation, with this year centring itself around Spain. Also performing at the festival are other renowned Spanish artists, such as the Orquesta de Cámara Andrés Segovia, Zarzuela and el Cuarteto Casals, as well as the French opera based in Seville, Carmen.
Following the Festival delle Nazioni, they will then be performing at the Festival Sete Sóis Sete Luas on Saturday 9th in Pontedera. By arranging to perform at two festivals in the same country within a day of each other, we are working towards the sustainability goals we have at Flamenco Agency. We reduce the CO2 emissions produced from flying by programming more than one event at the same time, in addition to splitting the costs between the two festivals, making it more efficient for us and the event organisers.
