On 23rd June, Barcelona Flamenco Ballet (BFB) will have the pleasure of closing the 10th edition of FemArt festival, which will be held at the National Theatre of Kosovo in Pristina. BFB will be showcasing their latest production, Luxuria, a tale of passion, mystery, and intrigue as the ‘closing special’ of the 10-day long festival.
This performance will also kick off BFB’s summer tour of Luxuria, during which the artists will be travelling to Kosovo, Romania, Italy, North Macedonia, Denmark, and South Korea, which is set to end in September.
With the aim of promoting and celebrating the work of female artists in the performing arts, and the motto, “From revolution to evolution”, the festival will exhibit conferences, exhibitions and performances from activists and feminists from across Europe, including Kosovo, Albania, Serbia, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Israel, Réunion Island, Italy, and France.
This will be the first time one of Flamenco Agency’s artists has attended FemArt, and it is a great honour that BFB will be closing off the festival. Click here to find out more: https://femart-ks.com/about/.
