After performing on a Sunday at VIFTEN in Copenhagen on November 17th, Barcelona Flamenco Ballet’s “Carmen” is finishing the Scandinavian tour on a Monday, coming to Slagelse (Denmark) for the first time ever on November 18th, 2024! The venue for this performance is the Vestsjællands Teaterkreds, which will act as an amazing backdrop for our flamenco as it epitomizes the cultural richness of Denmark’s theatre scene.
We are incredibly proud to have sold half the tickets for this show in just one week! Furthermore, this is the first time that this venue programmes an international company. This is an amazing achievement for us as it proves that we are reaching our goals and visions of opening new markets for flamenco. We hope to introduce flamenco to many other venues around the world in the near future!
In just as exciting news, this performance will be the conclusion to our Nordic “Carmen” tour, where we would have performed in Drammen, Norway, Malmö, Sweden, Copenhagen and now finally Slagelse! This tour perfectly aligns with our goals of being as sustainable as possible as performing arts company.
