The festival’s premium program in the month of September includes the famous Indian conductor Zubin Mehta directing the Symphony Orchestra of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, one of the greatest operas composed by Giuseppe Verdi, “Aida”, in a version by Helikon Opera, Swan Lake by the well-known Les Ballets de Monte Carlo and the mentioned “Carmen” https://flamencoagency.com/carmen-by-granada-flamenco-ballet/ and “Dance for Me”: https://flamencoagency.com/dance-for-me/

We are celebrating that this unique and exclusive festival in Thailand has turned 25 years old! To commemorate such a special edition the program will include performances from June to October. It also includes Lucerne Symphony Orchestra with a Beethoven program, the musical West Side Story, a Gala performance by Stuttgart Ballet, The Magnificent Six, and Anna Karenina,  a ballet choreographed by Boris Eifman, based on the 1877 novel Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy: https://www.bangkokfestivals.com/program/

“Carmen”, the first show presented majestically by the Granada Flamenco Ballet, has toured in Asia before, around mainland China, and it will perform soon the première in Thailand. Meanwhile, “Dance for Me” was recently premièred at the beautiful Cēsis Concert Hall in Latvia:

Right after Thailand, the company will stay a little bit longer in Asia, touring the Philippines with performances in Manila and Cebu, in order to make the company more visible and the tour more sustainable. Afterwards, it will return to Spain to perform in Portugal. We are also performing “Carmen” four times in Seville: https://flamencoagency.com/cartuja-center/

We are very happy to return to the prestigious Bangkok’s International Festival of Dance & Music, as we announced months ago: https://flamencoagency.com/flamenco-agency-at-aappac-2022/,

after successful performances in 2017. It is very special also for us because in that occasion we performed “Carmen” and “Flamenco Suite” by Antonio Andrade Flamenco Ballet (We will also bring this company for the first time to Australia in July 2023).

Furthermore, we are proud to perform in the most prominent festival in Thailand because the vision of Flamenco Agency has always been to elevate and place Flamenco within the highest category of the performing arts. In fact, in our more than fifteen years of experience, Flamenco Agency has given value to this artistic and popular discipline that constitutes to the most representative identity of the Andalusian and Spanish culture. Come to Bangkok to celebrate the 25th edition of the festival with the finest Flamenco! https://www.bangkokfestivals.com
