We are delighted to announce that we will be performing in Latvia at the Cēsis Concert Hall on October 12th, 2024.
We will be bringing “Flamenco Suite” by Compañía Flamenca Antonio Andrade; a production that we took all the way to Australia for the first time last year.
This performance will be an extra special one as we are celebrating not only one exciting occasion, but two! Firstly, it is the concert hall’s 10th anniversary in 2024. We are incredibly proud to have performed 5 times in its 10 years of existence. Furthermore, October 12th is the well-known Día de la Hispanidad, or the National Day of Spain, and what better way to celebrate this than with an authentic Flamenco performance!
This concert hall is one we are very familiar with; this will be the 5th time we perform here! Our previous performances included:
- 2015: “Carmen” by Compañía Flamenca Antonio Andrade
- 2017: “Antonio Andrade Guitar Duo”,
- 2019: “Luxurîa” by Barcelona Flamenco Ballet
- 2022: “Dance for me” by Granada Flamenco Ballet (World Première): A production that we later took to Bangkok and Madrid.
As always, we prioritise sustainability, therefore this performance will be part of a Latvian tour, with a performance first in Ogre on October 10th, followed by this performance in Cēsis on October 12th and closing the tour off in Riga on October 14th.
In addition, we will make sure we offer workshops to the Baltic flamenco community, as we did last time, for Riga Ballet school and flamenco academies.
